Last Tuesday I went to a little town, Canaan, New Hampshire, to see Sy Montgomery and Elizabeth Marshall Thomas. The latter has written a book about cats among others (name escapes me) and Sy Montgomery wrote The Good, Good Pig which is a must read even though you cry or want to at the end.
Anyway, it took me over an hour to find the event which was held in a beautiful historic town hall across from a lake. Both authors read from their latest books and signed their books afterwards. Punch and cookies were served. A delightful evening.
