Have finished reading Sex with Kings which is an excellant book dealing with the topic of royal mistresses throughout the ages; what they went through and how they shaped history. Also how the role of the mistress has changed from the 1100's til now. This book is extremely well written.
Have also read Mary Daheim's latest Alpine Quilt. Good book and mindless fun.
