The Quiet Room

"Now you may go into the Quiet Room while you wait." What? Huh? This was my first ever pedicure but I don't remember anyone ever mentioning going into a Quiet Room while you had your nails done.

I followed a barefoot, balding man into a room with relaxing chairs, magazines, water, yogurt covered pretzels and something that looked like the carrots and peas candy that may still be around being gazed at by children wondering why??. (I'm assuming that this stuff was much healthier.) But I am getting off track.

The true fun began after being ushered into another room. I'm not sure what I enjoyed more, the foot massage, water bath, vibrating chair, fresh ice water, or the other foot care products being applied. My feet haven't felt this good in ages. Can I train my husband to do this? My friend/coworker also came and had her nails done. We were then sent back to the Quiet Room until our nails were dry. We left soon after for lunch. Too hard to be quiet. School starts for us on Monday and we had much to discuss.

Your feet look dynamite!!! Trust me - husbands cannot be trained to do this procedure. It is genetically impossible.

Enjoy your new tootsies!
