Valediction

Tonight was Valediction and the speaker was interesting. He was a former student teacher to many of the kids when they were in middle school and went on to join the Marines. Spoke on making correct choices which was so appropriate after all that has happened this past week.

I finished painting the boys bathroom today. Why you ask does this go under Valediction? Well. . . one had to wear their cap and gown tonight. S1 asked if he could use the bathroom and I said certainly but "do not get dressed in there as the walls might be wet." He dressed in his room but took the gown into the bathroom. Not a lot of paint on the gown and mostly on the hem. I was able to get most of it off, S1 hung it out the window of the car to dry while we were going to the event and it was pretty much dry when we got there. Another crisis averted.
