Next month's choice for our book club is a highly regarded book. (I would print the name but I'm not ready for coworkers to find my blog just yet). The book has to do with hostage taking and shooting and I just cannot read past the first couple of chapters. I mentioned to S1 about the book and he looked at me with a shocked look on his face when I told him the subject matter. He understood completely why I'm reluctant to finish it.
Has a book ever affected any of you like this?
My copy of this book goes back to the library tomorrow. Enough good books out there to read and I can miss book club for this meeting.
