Parent Weekend 2008

. Yesterday was Parent Weekend at the school of Purple and Yellow. It was also football game weekend - we won - something like 56 to 0. Lots of cheering, throwing of purple and yellow rolls of crepe paper for each touchdown and an EXCELLENT half-time show by a 470 piece marching band. The top photo is actually the last photo of the game. The cannon (which goes off after every touchdown) also goes off at the end of the game. Very cool.

We had lunch outdoors and it was perfect for it. Lots of parents with their children - we got to meet parents of friends. Lots of people also tailgating. Husband and S2 played pool before the game. A very relaxing day.
