We went apple picking today. Husband loves Fuji apples and they are in season until the orchard closes near Thanksgiving. The air had a sweet, appley smell and the trees were loaded. Taking out our old, non-producing trees and replacing them was one of the topics we discussed. Visions of fruit laden apple trees is quite intoxicating.

Yum...I miss the tradition of apple picking as we did back when I lived up North. :) Enjoy all the sweet treasures!
