Another great book by Donna Andrews in the Meg Langslow series.
This time Meg and her husband Michael are trying to find the murderer of a local nasty guy who for some reason is asked by the city council to play Santa in the local parade. Before Santa can get dressed and go out for his ride he is murdered by a stake.
Of course, nothing is simple. It is snowing, the power is out, cell phones do not work. There is a Christmas llama, a donkey with an attitude, parents, boy scouts and of course, Spike - the mean dog.
A fun book for the holidays.
