The Imaginary Garden by Andrew Larsen

In my quest to find great books to read to my class I have been haunting the children's section at the library and came up with this gem. It is about a gentleman and his granddaughter and how they use their imagination to make a new garden after having to give up the old one.

A wonderful story with beautiful illustrations that can inspire some creativity at home or in the school setting. And the perfect gift for a gardener who has a special child in his/her life.

It looks wonderful! I'll have to look into it. I have one on the shelf you might like, too. The Gardner by Sarah Stewart, pictures by David Small.
