It is a topsy turvy world

here at the little blue house.

I apologize for those who have left comments and then didn't see their comments appear. I thought that I had turned off comment moderation. Oops. May not have. Will have to recheck everything again.

My father, over a cup of coffee this morning, asked me if I was celebrating my birthday for a week and hence no blogging.

No. . .

Earlier this week, can't remember which night, the toilet upstairs overflowed. While we were sleeping. I woke up to strange sound, walked into the bathroom and water was ALL OVER the floor. Then I heard the dripping downstairs. Water was leaking out from the ceiling onto the floor.

I woke husband up. When it became clear that he wasn't fully awake and probably wouldn't be for awhile I sent him back to bed. Was up until 2? mopping, bailing, cleaning.

The next day I took out a two by 6? foot section of the den ceiling and threw it away so that the area could dry out.

I am still trying to recover from lack of sleep.

It was a busy week at school also. The big Thanksgiving feast for the preK was on Friday. Enjoyed by all and MUCH anticipated by my class to the point that the excitement rivaled Christmas. Our Thanksgiving play is on Tuesday. Then 5 days of break.

Bella had her first adolescent puppy class this past Monday. A BIG dog came in and rushed her in anger and poor Bella peed all over the floor. A fence went up between the two dogs and a sheet put over that. Can't wait for the next class.

Am painting a Christmas village.

And yes, our letter of the week was T and one word mentioned by a child was topsy-turvy. Described the week perfectly!!

Happy Belated (or maybe not so belated) Birthday! I am looking forward to seeing your Christmas village painting? figures?

Oh, my! What a mess. Yes, make sure it airs out completely. You don't want mold.

I don't blame Bella. I'm sure I would have done the same.

Hope next week is much better.
