Back to regular programming

Thank you for letting me get the last post off of my chest.

I have just put some Gingerbread cookie dough in the refrigerator to firm up and here is the recipe. I love gingerbread boys.

Gingerbread Cookies

1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1/2 cup dark or light molasses
3 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup water
5 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp salt


Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, and molasses. Dissolve baking soda into water; stir into molasses mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until firm.

Bake cookies at 375 for 10 minutes.

Yummmm... But would you believe, I never made Gingerbread Boys. -hangs head in shame- >,-)
