Bella, Snow and the Christmas Tree

Husband and I were supposed to go to the mountains this morning to cut down our Christmas tree but the snow came earlier than expected. And if you have ever driven on the Blue Ridge Parkway, with it's lack of guardrails, you know to stay off in the winter if you are not used to driving in that sort of mess.

So we decided to go to the Christmas tree place/nursery about a mile away. And we took Bella.

The snow was coming down in BIG flakes as we walked around measuring trees and trying to decide which one was the perfect tree. We put our decision in the back of the car with Bella and left the back window open. Bella loved it. her nose was really working. After we got home she spent a great deal of time running outside. A good first experience with the white stuff.
