Creating time

Conscious of the fact that I do not draw or paint well it was incredibly hard to put the first stroke of paint onto the canvas. Almost like I was an imposter posing as an artist. But once the initial paint was on the canvas it was more fun. I'm not creating for anyone but me. Things like that make me happy. And I have found that painting is fun!

Painting, like everything, should please us.

So happy you find it fun.

Now I have to try my hands at water colors.... Start by reading the book my husband got me for Christmas. :-)

"Stories never really end…even if the books like to pretend they do.
Stories always go on. They don’t end on the last page,
any more than they begin on the first page."

Hey Jodi! Did you have Mom and Dad's farm on your mind? The house is very similar with the trees, stone wall, and even the shape of the house! VERY Interesting and a good job, I think!!!
