Movie Day

As I had 3 hours between work and an eye appointment I went to see Chicken Little. A better cartoon movie than most I've seen lately but not like the cartoons that I used to watch with my children when they were younger. This one also had music of the parents generation (which I think keeps them from being bored) which seems to be what many cartoons are doing now. It's fine to a certain point but cartoons are not as intellectual as they used to be. There are few reasons to watch one again. The animation was well done but in very bright colors like I was watching a Playskool or Fisherprice movie. I like older cartoons especially those done by Harmon and Ising or the Looney Tunes or Merry Melodies.
