Wheels of Justice Move S L O W L Y

A classmate of S1's killed the mother of another classmate a little less than three years ago. She wasn't the only person involved (a brother and his friend were previously convicted) but it took the longest to get her to trial. Yesterday the judge found her guilty of two murders (as the 3 year old son died when the criminals set fire to the house). Sentencing will be in February.

While the reporter was giving us the news film of the now 18 year old was playing and she was smiling at the camera while being loaded into the police car to go back to jail. It was just a casual smile that seemed to speak to the excitement of being on TV but I wanted to shake her and say "You did not win a beauty pagent, you have killed two people and left two others without a mother and all this to steal a refund check that was worth under $150. Being on TV for this is NOT a good thing."

Last year two of S2's previous basketball teammates almost lost their mother as their father tried to kill her Halloween night. Dressed up in a mask and broke into the house. He did not want to pay her alimony anymore. That has not gone to trial yet as the father plead guilty and then decided to take back the plea.
