Rear Window

As stated in an earlier blog I LOVE this movie. No real action until the end but oh the suspense. I love the way each scene is done as a snippet of what is happening and then fades and goes onto the next scene. By filming it this way one would suppose the movie to be jerky and missing something but the story flows together flawlessly.

Of course Grace Kelly is beautiful and Jimmy Stewart is a great leading man in this movie. Raymond Burr is perfectly cast as the evil Lars and the nurse and lead detective are great also. And Miss Lonely Hearts . . . sigh. When she has dinner with her imaginary date doesn't your heart just break?!

Husband had never seen this movie so we watched in on New Year's Eve after going out to dinner. A great date movie and even he (an action movie kind of guy) liked it.
