Today husband and I went across the mountains to the gardening place where the women who work there wear bonnets. We/I love that place. The plants are healthy and beautiful and the prices are great. So many people there today that an older worker stood in the parking lot directing traffic.

We bought pink petunias, yellow and pink zinnias, and yellow snapdragons for the 6 window boxes on the front of the house.

For the boxes under the kitchen windows we put in purple, white and a new varigated kind of pink impatiens.

Don't they look pretty overlooking the hosta garden and the bird feeding area?!!

Of course one cannot garden alone. Lots of silly friends to help.
