Friday's Show and Tell - A Western Theme
It is Show and Tell over at Kelli's - There is no place like home. Take a look and see what others have. There are always interesting things on Show and Tell.
My Show and Tell this week are some items from my childhood that my mom brought up to my grandmother's birthday party with her. Yes, the cowgirl skirt is mine (think I have a photo but cannot find it). Isn't it cute with the fringe and all?
The other items are my Jane West doll and SOME of her accessories - she seemed to have a lot of things. The most interesting ones to me are her handbag and her compact. Yes, a COMPACT (which you can see in the photo next to the purse). I guess even Jane needed to be prepared to look nice on the trail. Never knew who she was going to meet!!

What neat treasures from your childhood. That is great.

That skirt is great! What fun keepsakes. Blessings...
What cowgirl would be complete with out a compact. Dale Evans always looked put together. LOL. Thank you for sharing.
What neat memories you have. I bet you had fun with that skirt when you were little.
I love the Jane West collection!!
Neat memories!
I have one of those dolls too! Except mine is the smaller one. The little sister. What was her name? I will think of it tonight at 2:00 a.m. Was it Jesse?
Love the skirt!
How great that you still have those! The skirt is darling.
That is the cutest little cowgirl skirt! I never heard of Jane West, but she's lovely and has such neat accessories. How wonderful that your mom kept those treasures.
Your cowgirl skirt is so sweet and I love the doll too. It looks like she is well prepared for the trail. :0)

Very cute! :)
What memories this post brought back to me! I think I had a Jane West doll! It may have been a best friend who had one, but I definitely remember playing with one and all her accesories to boot! I also remember when the cowgirl skirts were popular. I can't recall if I ever had one though. Thanks for this walk down memory lane!
So, you were a little cowgirl huh? I love the compact. That is so funny.
Having nostalgia here! I think I would have worn my cowgirl skirt to school every day if I had been allowed ;-) I wanted to be Dale Evans when I grew up so I could be married to handsome Roy Rogers and ride Trigger. Thanks for the memories!
*smiles* I had that very same doll. My barbies played indoors, and my Jane doll got to play outdoors.... in the mud even. She was magic~
L-U-V the skirt! Nice fringe!
FYI that picture of the boys with their great-grandmother is great!
Oh my gosh - I forgot all about Johnny West. Was Jane West his girlfriend?
evi- I think her husband. My brother has him - and the son. Think there was a daughter also.
