Heinz inspecting City Market purchases

Today my friend A and I went to the City Market. Usually we get in our first trip earlier in the season but due to obligations etc we could not make our initial foray until today. So many things to choose from. And beautiful weather that made it more enjoyable. Tomatoes for $1.00 per pound. Baby cantelope for $1.50 each. Yes, a bit pricey but oh so good and sweet. Flowers a splurge :-). Heinz is very excited about them. We will see how long they last in the upright position.

Yummy market goodies--the prices don't sound bad to me, we have been paying 2.99 for cantelopes around here!
