We celebrated July 4th at the pool. To open the festivities S1 helped get the canoe ready with the pool president and some children inside it. They took a ride in the pool while the pool pres sang the national anthem and someone else played on the violin. Little children waved flags and licked red, white and blue popsicles.
S2 was lifeguard for awhile.
Husband and I read while enjoying a picnic lunch.
S2 played ultimate frisbee.

What kind of water is in that pool?
It's spring fed. Very lightly chlorinated. Still cold to get into and you cannot see the bottom.
