Our fair city is celebrating it's 250th birthday.  A mock battle was going to be held at the courthouse this afternoon with an informational tour through a local cemetery this evening.  I decided to go in the coolness of the morning.  A soldier showed us how to make fire, a blacksmith was recruiting some help,  and a beautifully dressed woman was out for a stroll.  A nice way to spend a morning.
