Today I gave 15 Parent/Teacher conferences. Tomorrow I have 9. On Tuesday I was the parent instead of the educator and saw 4 teachers. The following is an excerpt from my visit with one teacher.
SCHOOL CONVERSATION
Mr. W - S2 does not talk to many people in class.
Me - Well he is friends with K and C.
Mr. W - I've only seen him talk to K and not C. K would be a good person for him to ask questions and study with. It is her second time taking the class.
HOME CONVERSATION
Me - Mr. W says that you should study with K sometime as she knows what she is doing in class.
S2 - Yes, she is the one that Mr. W asks to help him if he is having trouble with a problem.
What was that again???
