The dinner is over and naps for some of us are ending. Largely due to gunfire. It's hunting season, which drives me crazy when it's allowed so close to homes. Whenever a shot goes off I have an inane desire to look around the room for bullet holes.

Our dinner was lovely. Husband's parents were here. There were 4 kinds of pies to accommodate every palate. Turkey with sausage and a vegetarian stuffing. Potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce (not the jellied kind), green beans, braided rolls and strawberry jam. Most of the excess was/will be given away and the rest will be in the freezer. Husband and I can eat turkey for dinner for several nights.

S2 and I did some online shopping. So many things to do tomorrow and I didn't think that standing in line at 3 am for a printer that is on sale today would be to my benefit. I might go for a few things in the morning but we are going out for a Christmas tree and then I'm up to Northern VA with S2 so that he can visit his girlfriend. Hope that your day was a good one.
