We do live in a rural area but I'm not aware of anyone with horses that would be in within riding distance. But the sign has been up for years so I'm assuming that there must have been an issue with it at one point (I'm not a native).
The 'comment deleted' was mine, Jodi. It showed up twice, that's all. :<) Think of the days when children would ride horses to school! And bring their dogs who would wait outside.
