I had two. A coworker had 1. Other numbers floating around 40 (coworker), low 80's (brother). The all time high was another coworker of mine who lives less than a mile away.
Didn't count them, but we get more college students, than children, it seems. {Being right next to a campus} :-) It's really cute to see these young adults, trying to dress themselves up somehow, and the fun they have going door-to-door. :-)
As to count, it kind of remains constant. Not all that many, but enough that you *have* to give out candy. :-)
