Our favorite restaurant

is closing Dec 24th due to landlord issues. Husband and I made the last trip today and even though it was packed and the staff upbeat it was still sad. We have eaten there for years. Taken our children and had wonderful family breakfasts there. My parents have gone there with us. Lots of good memories.

I am sorry you are losing this wonderful place to eat. We use to love a place in Coldwater, Michigan where we went to visit my mom and stepdad while they were both very ill. For at least 3 years eating there was the high light of our day. I still miss it and it has been almost 10 years. Although we have found many good places to eat. Best to you this Christmas season.

Awwwwwwwww, so sad...

Bummer! One of our standards for out of town guests is closed now for renovations and changing management. I really hope it retains it's old hometown country diner flavor though. It was a bit of the Adirondacks in the midst of Hollywood.
