After living here for over 12 years I finally made it to the Extension office this week to ask what in the world these berries were. Wine berries. Not as flavorable as raspberries but an absolutely beautiful color. The Extension lady informed me that they make a beautiful jam but I'm having to fight the mockingbirds for them (and my blueberries). No jam this year.
