Homemade applesauce on the stove made from MacIntosh apples. A movie - A Talent for Life, Midsomer Murders and a cat at my feet. A quite delightful way to welcome the first cool day of September.
Someone left bags of apples outside our classroom door at school...our Basic Foods classes made apple pies, 22 in all. My fitness classes made Apple Crisp, 14 pans in all. We still have 3 grocery bags of apples left...want some more?!
Wow, what a gift for your class. If I lived closer . . .:-) I'm impressed with the amount of apple pies and crisps that your classes made. The smell in your part of the school must have been heavenly.
I'm taking my 4 year old class to the orchard on Friday. Will get some apples then for pies and maybe more applesauce.
